From way back, people loved this piece of Slovakia so much, that they kept their personal experiences given from generation to generation and together they shared their joys hereby their sorrows. They threaded every piece of this land by the hair of life, which is reflected back at cultural and natural wealth of our region.

Rajecká valley, the relaxation and meeting place, represents a charming little shire for many people. Monumental rocky massifs alternate deep and intimate forests. Vast meadows are scattered by human dwellings, often of precious values and historical knowledge. Warm springs, within living memory used to heal the body and soul suffering, together with knowing of how to live in such hard natural conditions, signify the pride of local residents to be a part of life in Rajecká valley.

In this environment, our ancestors realized the possibilities offered by the surrounding nature. Timber, mushroom, herbal or forest fruit resources were almost unlimited. Game occurs still in such places where man is just amazed how unique sceneries can be found here. Green meadows return the human diligence by large pastures for the cattle and sheep. This region represents practically a privilege for many citizens living nowadays in Rajecká valley.

Perfect accessibility from every corner of Central Europe predetermines our area to point at the presenting of, for somebody, many unknown pieces and ideas. Hot summers and immense water resources refer once again to plenitude of harmony between the water and sun. The jolliness of the locals wants to welcome everybody who is seriously interested in relaxation, beauty and adventure at the same time.

If man visits our region, he is welcomed cordially every time and every season during a year. Spring months reflect surrounding forests beginning to bloom by the phosphorescently green, and summer flushes the valley by the warm shine. Autumn tints forests by the red, yellow and brown shades and lastly, everybody has got opportunity to enjoy the winter snow to heart´s content.
